Abstract
We found drug-inducible store-operated Ca(2+) entry in neonatal rat cardiomyocytes, which was dependent on STIM1. Although this STIM1-dependent, drug-inducible store-operated Ca(2+) entry was only marginal in adult cardiomyocytes isolated from control hearts, it increased significantly in cardiomyoc...

Effective treatment options are available, which reduce the risk of vertebral and non-vertebral fractures, but the identification of patients with high fracture risk is problematic. Low bone mineral density (BMD)--the basis for the diagnosi...

We also observed an altered gene expression of ERα and ERβ in adult testis upon BPA exposure. Based on these results, we hypothesized that apart from endocrine action, BPA might mediate perturbations in expression of ERs via epigenetic mechanism....

Abstract
Cognitive dysfunction has a major role in health outcomes for cardiac patients. The association of cognitive dysfunction with heart failure is well established, but the cardiac variables that contribute to cognition are not well understood.
