The G1 domain of aggrecan released from porcine articular cartilage forms stable complexes with hyaluronan/link protein.

Rheumatology (Oxford) 42(2):336-42 (2003) PMID 12595632

To raise peptide antibodies recognizing the C-terminal amino acid sequence in the G1 domain of porcine aggrecan, generated by the action of either aggrecanase or neutral metalloproteinase(s), in rabbits and to use them to investigate the release of aggrecan from porcine articular cartilage.

We identify Bi2Se2Te With (111) surfaces (the cleavage plane) as a very good TI candidate to study Responses of massive Dirac Fermions to magnetic perturbations; this ternary has A surface-derived Dirac point isolated in the bulk band gap at the Fermi level Like Bi2Se3 and also a large spin texture...

The diffraction data of η'-Cu(3+x)(Si,Ge) were collected by 3D quantitative electron diffraction tomography on a submicrometer-sized sample, and the structure was solved by the charge-flipping algorithm in superspace. It is shown that the structure is trigonal, and it is incommensur...

Chem Commun (London) (2009) PMID 19377669

Octahedral titanium(iv) oxide (TiO(2)) crystallites with exposed anatase {101} facets exhibited relatively high photocatalytic activity for oxidative decomposition of organic compounds and low activity for hydrogen evolution in the absence of molecular oxygen, probably due to the characteristics of...
