Generation of fiber-modified adenovirus vectors containing heterologous peptides in both the HI loop and C terminus of the fiber knob.

J Gene Med 5(4):267-76 (2003) PMID 12692861

Fiber-modified adenovirus (Ad) vectors can be effective in overcoming the limitations of conventional Ad vectors, specifically their inefficient gene transfer into cells lacking the primary receptor, the coxsackievirus and adenovirus receptor (CAR). Several types of fiber-modified Ad vectors have been developed. In this study, we evaluated the functionality of several fiber-modified Ad vectors.

    Gene Ther 19(1):109-13 (2012) PMID 21677690 PMCID PMC3382196

We quantify viral genomes and gene transfer mediated by Ad5 and FX-binding-ablated Ad5 vectors in non-human primates. Ad5 vectors accumulated in and mediated gene transfer predominantly to the liver, whereas FX-binding-ablated vectors primarily targeted the spleen but showed negligible liver gene tr...
  2. The route of administration is a major determinant of the transduction efficiency of rat tissues by adenoviral recombinants.

    Gene Ther 2(2):107-15 (1995) PMID 7719927

We provide experimental evidence which indicates that the route of administration of the AV-recombinants has a major influence on the transduction of various tissues in young rats. The heart, diaphragm, intercostal muscles and thymus show high transduction after intra-arterial (left cardiac ventricl...

    Mol Cells 32(1):21-37 (2011) PMID 21647586

We identified 186 miRNAs belonging to 55 families in B. rapa by using comparative genomics. The lengths of identified mature and pre-miRNAs ranged from 18 to 22 and 66 to 305 nucleotides, respectively. Comparison of 4 nucleotides revealed that uracil is the predominant base in the first position of...
