No impact of hyperkalaemia with renin-angiotensin system blockades in maintenance haemodialysis patients.

Nephrol Dial Transplant 22(4):1150-5 (2007) PMID 17255126

Renin-angiotensin system (RAS) blockades, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) and angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs) are well accepted for the cardiorenal-protective benefits added to antihypertensive effects in chronic kidney diseases (CKD), but associated with an increased risk of hyperkalaemia. However, few studies have investigated the effect of RAS blockades on serum potassium in dialysis patients.

    arXiv:1305.1582 [math.DS] 7 May 2013

We consider a non-autonomous dynamical system formed by coupling two Piecewise-smooth systems in $\RR^2$ through a non-autonomous periodic Perturbation. We study the dynamics around one of the heteroclinic orbits of One of the piecewise-smooth systems. In the unperturbed case, the system Possesses t...

We previously identified blood pressure quantitative trait loci (QTL) on rat chromosome (RNO) 2 and a pulse pressure QTL on RNO3. The aims of this study were to confirm the QTL on RNO3 and to investigate interaction between RNO2 and RNO3 loci through the generation and phenotypic assessment of singl...
