Popcorn worker's lung in Britain in a man making potato crisp flavouring.

Audio, Transactions of the IRE Professiona... 63(3):267-8 (2008) PMID 18308961

The case history is presented of a patient who developed popcorn worker's lung following exposure to 2,3-butanedione (diacetyl). Other similar cases are reviewed, and it is concluded that food flavourer's lung may be a more suitable diagnostic label.

  1. Optimizing CUDA Code By Kernel Fusion---Application on BLAS

    arXiv:1305.1183 [cs.DC] 6 May 2013

We show how kernels performing map, reduce or their nested Combinations can be fused automatically by our source-to-source compiler. To Demonstrate the usability of the compiler, we have implemented several BLAS-1 And BLAS-2 routines and show how the performance of their sequences can be Improved by...

We present a systematic study of the benefits of FAIMS for a key challenge in proteomics, that of peptide isomers. We have applied FAIMS to the analysis of a phosphopeptide library comprising the sequences GPSGXVpSXAQLX(K/R) and SXPFKXpSPLXFG(K/R), where X = ADEFGLSTVY. The library has defined limit...

We recently reported [3] cannot be evolutionarily optimised. To support This claim they first attempt to calculate the selective advantage of a local Reduction in the mutation rate and conclude that it is not strong enough to be Favoured by selection. Second, they analyse the distribution of 166 mut...
