  1. Incidence rates and predictors of major and minor depression in patients with heart failure

    Int J Cardiol 167(2):502-507 (2013) PMID 22341693

In these HF patients initially free of depression annual incidence rates were high. Several independent predictors allowed identification of patients at particular risk. Although obtained in a selected cohort these findings call, in view of the grave prognosis of HF patients with comorbid depression...

    arXiv:1306.2786 [cond-mat.mtrl-sci] 12 Jun 2013

We have reported nanopattern formation on carbon thin film and Si(100) Surfaces by low energy inert and carbon ion beams. It is interesting to observe The role of carbon as target as well as projectile for nano patterning. Using Carbon thin film as target, nano patterns of carbon are formed by inert...

    arXiv:1306.2534 [cond-mat.quant-gas] 11 Jun 2013

We analyze the collective excitations as well as the expansion of a Trapped Bose-Einstein condensate with a vortex line at its center. To this end, We propose a variational method where the variational parameters have to be Carefully chosen in order to produce reliable results. Our variational Calcu...
