Spontaneous second-trimester uterine rupture in the absence of known risk factors: a case report.

J Reprod Med 54(8):525-8 (2009) PMID 19769202

Uterine rupture is a rare, catastrophic event in obstetrics. When it occurs, it is usually associated with prior uterine surgery, trauma, abnormal placentation, or induction of labor. Spontaneous rupture during the second trimester is exceptionally rare.

    J Biol Chem (2013) PMID 23649623

We have revealed that HMGB1 two paralogs are broadly retained from fish onwards in the phylogeny. However, their spatial-temporal expression and effects, as shown in lowest amniote gecko, were tightly controlled in order that limited inflammation was produced in spontaneous regeneration. Gecko HMGB1...

    Epilepsy Res (2013) PMID 23639621

We created an animal model with multiple FCD, produced during embryonic development, and observed whether spontaneous seizures occurred. Furthermore, we examined the relationship between FCD and epileptogenesis using immunohistochemistry. At 18 days postconception, a frozen metal probe was placed bi...

We wanted to determine whether behavioural and GABAergic functional deficits induced by the NMDA receptor channel blocker, phencyclidine (PCP), could be reversed by repeated administration of two drugs known to enhance GABAergic transmission: the positive allosteric modulator (PAM) of the metabotrop...
