A randomized phase 2 study of docetaxel and S-1 versus docetaxel and cisplatin in advanced gastric cancer with an evaluation of SPARC expression for personalized therapy.

Cancer 117(10):2050-7 (2011) PMID 21523716

The purpose of this study was to compare 2 weekly docetaxel-based regimens as first-line treatments for advanced gastric cancer and to investigate the expression of secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine (SPARC) and its abilities to predict treatment-related clinical outcomes.

    arXiv:1306.2510 [cond-mat.quant-gas] 11 Jun 2013

We study the universal critical behavior of two-dimensional (2D) lattice Bosonic gases at the Berezinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless (BKT) transition, which Separates the low-temperature superfluid phase from the high-temperature normal Phase. For this purpose, we perform quantum Monte Carlo simulations of...

    arXiv:1306.2544 [cond-mat.str-el] 11 Jun 2013

The study of the interaction potential between static charges within Monte-Carlo simulation of graphene is carried out. The numerical simulations are performed in the effective lattice field theory with noncompact $3 + 1$-dimensional Abelian lattice gauge fields and $2 + 1$-dimensional staggered la...

    arXiv:1306.3124 [cond-mat.str-el] 13 Jun 2013

We study the interacting Fermi-Hubbard model in two spatial dimensions with Synthetic gauge coupling of the spin orbit Rashba type, at half-filling. Using Real space mean field theory, we numerically determine the phase as a function Of the interaction strength for different values of the gauge fiel...
