  1. Observation of a structure at 1.84 GeV/c$^2$ in the $3(\pi^+\pi^-)$ mass spectrum in $J/\psi\rightarrow \gamma 3(\pi^+\pi^-)$ decays

    arXiv:1305.5333 [hep-ex] 23 May 2013

With a sample of 225.3 million $J/\psi$ events taken with the BESIII detector, the decay $J/\psi\rightarrow \gamma 3(\pi^+\pi^-)$ is analyzed. A structure at 1.84 GeV/c$^2$ is observed in the $3(\pi^+\pi^-)$ invariant mass spectrum with a statistical significance of 7.6$\sigma$ . The mass and width...

Two novel reduced dimensionality (RD) experiments -(4,3)D-hNCOcaNH and (4,3)D-hNcoCANH- have been presented here to facilitate the backbone resonance assignment of proteins both in terms of its accuracy and speed. The experiments basically represent an improvisation of previously reported HN(C)N ex...
  3. A note on the Waring ranks of reducible cubic forms

    arXiv:1305.5394 [math.AG] 23 May 2013

Let W_3(n) be the set of Waring ranks of reducible cubic forms in $n+1$ variables. We prove that $W_3(n)\subseteq \lbrace 1,\ldots, 2n+1\rbrace$, giving a classification of admissible ranks according to the projective equivalence classes of reducible cubic forms in $\mathbb P^n$.
